Guatamala Mural Project
Mural Project for the school children at Projecto Fe.
On February 7, 2025, I am going with a team from Wellspring Fellowship on a 10-day mission trip to Guatemala. We are working with Proyecto Fe International, an Alaska based organization which partners with Colegio Bethel, a School in San Pedro La Laguna, Guatemala.
Our goal will be to impact the lives of students, families, teachers, and the community through building relationships, sharing our faith, and participating in service projects.
My project specifically is to create and paint murals with the students and our team to beautify the school.
For this project I am raising funds for travel, paint, brushes and any other supplies that are needed to complete this project.
Your help, big or small will be greatly appreciated and I will keep you updated on the project and how it develops.
More details are coming soon, when I know how many walls, I am given to complete this project in the short period of time we are there.
I will also be meeting and visiting with our child who we are personally sponsoring, I’m super exited to meet her and her parents.
Beacon Hill Mural Project

Anchorage Mushing District art project

She loves my paintings and fireweed so I combined my bright bold color style with fireweed and Alaskan mountains, into an art piece they all could create with me!

Testimony
Each year for my birthday I try something I've never done before. My besties Cheri and Tamara always help me arrange an event, and for this year our friend Esther Kelly at Esther Kelly Art created a paint night for us!
While I stressed a bit due to my painting not matching (those who know me...) Esther brought what she always does - kindness, positivity, and the ability to find the artist in everyone.

Fur Rendezvous Artistic Sled Dog Reveal: with Mayor Suzanne La France.
Exiting News! I was chosen to be one of the Artists to repaint one of the Sled Dog statues at the Fur Roundy Headquarters.
They announced that my Dog Balto is chosen to be the lead dog, (He will be leading the pack and sled )
The unveiling of this artistic work will coincide with the collector pin unveiling Friday October 18 20204.

“Upon receiving the notification of my selection as one of the featured artists, I was inspired to name my dog Balto. He embodies resilience, much like myself, as we both face challenges head-on despite our occasional inexperience. Even in moments of despair, we persevere with courage and determination, navigating through adversity in pursuit of our objectives.”

Replacing an old, faded garage door mural with a modern Illustration. I created a new illustration matching the environment and colors or the collector’s home, printed and installed it on their garage door.

The art world can be difficult to break into, due to the competition for limited spaces in gallery shows. Getting into a gallery is a great step toward selling your art and feeling more serious as an artist.
